It’s not just a book, it’s an inspiration~

Have you ever opened a storybook and suddenly feel like you’ve been immersed into another world? A world of fairytales, fantasies, mysteries and romance? I absolutely love reading, my mother read to me bedtime stories every single night when I was a little girl and I loved those moments just before she tucked me into bed where I was suddenly transported into another world. I love flipping the pages of books, or huddling up on a couch or my bed with a yummy drink on a rainy day and forget everything that is currently ongoing in my life. Just me and my book. I love how I feel like I’m in a bubble straight after finishing a heart wrenching story and I love being able to identify and share such a feeling of closeness with the protagonist that may not even be real. Yes, I am a dreamer, and though I know I have to face the real world once the book is over, those precious hours are food for my soul.

Hi everyone!

I am deeply sorry for my month long absence, I know nothing can really justify that, but I shall still attempt to explain my lack of posts recently, heh. I have been crazily traveling around Europe for the last month trying to see as many places before I return home to Singapore for my last year at University, and my laptop was damaged and it was really inconvenient to edit photos and whatnots without my own computer.

Even after coming back, it was a little hard to get back into the swing of blogging and videoing regularly simply because I haven’t been doing so for the past month. However, when I came across this book, “Between the Lines” by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer, I was immediately inspired to do a blog post and to revamp my entire blog. It even gave me ideas for a new room makeover!

So you may be wondering how on earth a book can inspire all that. Well.. to start off, I’m a sucker for packaging.. Yes, the book cover. With its shades of blue and white, I fell immediately in love with it and picked it up. I swear the picture does not do it justice! I will do a video with a review on this book soon so you can see just how pretty it is!

The second thing that made me fall in love with it was that the story was based on a girl who loved reading fairytales. I cannot stay away from such whimsical and fairytale-like things. It’s a complete recipe for obsession for me. Why it inspired me was simply because it reminded me that I loved my fairytales, I loved getting ideas for designing, and I loved sharing them. This was the first thing in a month that I was so extremely eager to share with everyone! So while I mull over redecorating my room, I shall first endeavour to revamp my blog design by a teeny bit, so.. I shall be working on that for the next few days since I’m not exactly a genius in web design hurhur…

Well, that’s all for this post, it was just something I wanted to share with you guys, and to tell you that I’M BACK IN ACTION and to thank all of those who still faithfully stuck by my blog and to those who sent me encouragements for continuing my blog, you have no idea how much it meant to me!

Look out for more reviews and posts coming up! I have quite a lot of posts in store for you guys so thank you once again, and I’ll see you guys soon again!

What do you think? love, Sianne
